Really very disappointed with this restaurant. No special service that stands out from other restaurants. The ambience is not outstanding, a long journey is definitely not worth it. But what is much worse and also really cheeky is the price-performance ratio. The food offer does not justify the prices at all. We were so annoyed the night we were there for the first time (and last time). We have traveled a long way and have been looking forward to a nice evening all day. We paid € 70 for 2 main courses and 4 drinks. We like to spend € 70 on good food, but not on this canteen meal like at Vaivai. I really have to be here on Value for money to be worked. A piece of lasagne for € 19.50 and a plate of pasta with Bolognese € 17.50 and both were really nothing special and didn't taste good either. The food came with the drinks about 10 minutes after ordering .... So it wasn't fresh but just warmed up. We neither drank empty nor ate. The evening was the purest tragedy. We asked for the bill directly and the waitress made no attempt to ask us if something was wrong. Of course we paid our bill and also gave a tip, but we invested the 70 € so that we gained the experience and DEFINITIVELY will NEVER be guests at Vaivai again. The prices are really rude for this service and this food. We treated ourselves to dessert plus espresso in another restaurant. A visit to this restaurant is really not worth it. If you are looking for and want to enjoy good food and a good atmosphere, you will probably stay away from the Vaivai.

Unfortunately the quality has decreased a lot !!!!! Although we enjoyed visiting the vai vai ... Service very overwhelmed :-( Burger meat used to be very tasty, now only 0815! Very, very unfortunate! Price-performance ratio unfortunately not to be recommended. Everything hectic. Our starter and main course were within 2-5 minutes at the table! Minimum distance is zero! What a shame, dear vai Vai team

Tasty food and good place to chill

Magnificently magnificent (*****) like being in Italy with friends to make Ape eat and then find yourself at the counter to taste a good espresso ....... Keep it up 💪

The steak is good, the other dishes unfortunately do much better in other restaurants. In return, the service is good and courteous.

Spacious restaurant with good food and drinks. On the weekend or on special days there is also a "party" with a DJ. Definitely worth a visit.

The food was very good and the service excellent. The main point of criticism, however, was that almost no one adhered to the distance rules or wearing a mask. Virtually no one in the entire establishment wore a mask. We then left instead of spending the evening at the bar as planned.

In a nutshell: high quality food, optimal location, and friendly staff. Happy to return again soon. Situated in the heart of Westend, Vai Vai is a perfect choice for both a business or a private dinner. I highly recommend the tuna tartar, the truffle ravioli, and the chocolate souffle (see pictures). The food was very well prepared and presented. Special thanks to Jenia who was a lovely hostess, super attentive and very friendly. The ambience was lovely - a little loud and crowded at the bar towards the end of the evening, but where we were seated it was very cozy.

The beer here is very strong, and the bar staff are nutters. Good for after work beers.

Normally I do not write reviews. They way it looks, is nice. Personally i am very picky; so the menu is simple and just a little like Italian food but written in another languages so it looks fancier. A lot of cheese in the food as well. Food is okay but overpriced if you have great taste for italian or south-american beef. I personally waited like 50 minutes (without counting the ones to order which I would not complain, because it is "corona times" and places are under staff) to get my food and when I ask the waitress she was very mean to me. I asked if (but in a very polite/nice way ) i could pay and go since I was waiting like an hour and I am not exaggerating. I also aaw other people getting their food first, even when they arrived later then I did. Instead of handling the situation, she screamed at me, " No you can not it will come now". I felt a little ashamed since she was loud and other people was looking as well. I felt like almost guilty I was asking for my food after an hour haha. I would not go there but I hope if you pay this price, then you get nice service and feel like coming again no matter how long the food takes.

We had a great evening here. The food was delicious and the service was always attentive. Higher priced but reasonable.

Nice terrace with lots of sun and nice service. The burger was unfortunately not so good. Meat not succulent, sauce not tasty and the fries were not a pleasure either.

Super delicious food, very nicely arranged and served quickly. The service was always friendly & helpful. The location is also something for the eye. Otherwise a bit expensive, but justified. Should I be in Frankfurt next time, I will come back here.

Very slow service, but good steak.

Nice ambience with food served on sofisticated dishes. The restaurant becomes a dance club after 9:00 p.m. Waiters are of course kind of snobbish as expected in such places.

Very, very tasty food and helpful personel. It would be a 5* opinion but the music was much too loud. It was disturbing our conversation during a dinner with friends. We practicaly had to shout all The time.

After a half day shopping -in Frankfurt, we were directed to eat here, I can easily and with pleasure say, this was the icing, it topped our day to an extent we already decided we are coming again with proper and advance reservation. Although we just walked-inn and the Resturant was fully booked but Nadine found a place for us, we had to make sure we are done by 20.00 and puhhhhhh it was worth it, being explained by Baran and finally met the artist Chef. Tobi, our night is not complete, meeting Mahmoud Medhat on the way out, extended the smile on my face. To whom ever reads this: don’t miss this restaurant.

The place is ok. For vegetarians the place is a struck No No. Better places in Frankfurt. This place is also quite expensive!

VAIVAI is a bit expensive, but the food is tasty and the waiters are nice and friendly. I ate the lasagna which I liked, but the ragout shown in the first photo was amazing. My friend had it and I tried it and immediately regretted not wordering it. I recommend it for a nice evening out on a Friday or weekend. The restaurant has its own bar a bit small, but with nice music and cocktails.

Great drinks and service. Food was poor. Not the best steak as they ruined it completely. Place is an over hype but popular. If u r looking to dine well then recommended you find elsewhere
